Recovery is a skill, not a rest day
Autonomic recovery responds to practice the way fitness does. What we ask guests to do between visits, and why it works.

Recovery is usually described as an absence, the time between sessions when nothing is being asked of the body. Treated that way it stays passive, and it stays unreliable.
Trainable, like anything else
Autonomic recovery responds to deliberate practice. Breathwork, cold and heat exposure, and controlled low-intensity movement all shift measurable markers when applied consistently over weeks.
We ask guests for a short daily practice rather than an occasional long one. Ten minutes held every day moves variability further than an hour taken twice a month.
The aim is a routine light enough to survive a bad week, because those are the weeks it exists for.
